GoVoxBox!

I recently received my #GoVoxBox, compliments of Influenster for testing purposes. I was SO excited to receive it and it did not disapoint. I wanted to give a mini-review of each product.

I'll start off with my favorite product which was the Vitamin Next Step Shaker Cup. This is seriously the cutest cup and matches my workout clothes (purple, black, and white) perfectly. It works great and is the perfect size for me.

The Next Step Fit N' Full Shake mix was surprisingly delicious. I don't normally tend to like protein powder, but these were not bad at all! My favorite was the Vanilla, and I mixed it in with a strawberry banana smoothie. It was VERY filling.

The Profoot Pedi-Rock was also much needed! Now that it is flip-flop season, I really needed a foot rock, and this one did the job! It is designed to be held in your hand easily, and just washes clean with water. It is one of the better foot rocks that I've tried!

The Profoot Triad Orthotic inserts were not normally something I'd purchase, but I put them in my work-out shoes to test them out. They were very comfortable and even came with glue dots to adhese in my shoes!

The Aqua Spa Bath Soak was another of my favorite products. It left my skin feeling smooth and my bath smelling great! I love a  nice bath and these will definitely be something I'll repurchase.

The Playtex Sport Tampons had an easy applicator and were comfortable! Not much to say, but I normally buy this brand and will continue to purchase these!

I also received a coupon for Muller Yogurt and it was yummy!! It was not sold in many stores near me, but I was happy once I found it!

Lastly were the Blue Diamond Blueberry Almonds. I personally did not like the taste of these, but I don't normally snack on almonds. The blueberry taste was off and seemed too artificial.

My First Influenster Vox Box (UniVoxBox)

I recently received my first Influenster Vox Box and I loved the products it included! I was excited to try everything that it came with. For those that are not familiar with Influenster, they send out products for reviewing and testing purposes. The items I received included: Rimmel Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation (True Ivory 03), Red Rose Real Tea (Black Tea), ImPRESS Press-on Manicure, a Pilot Acroball Pen, and a N.Y.C. Lip Color.

Overall I really liked all of the items in my Vox Box!

The Rimmel Stay Matte Foundation is one of my new favorites, and blends like a DREAM. I surprisingly loved the mousse texture and it provided great coverage for about 7-8 hours. My only con for this item is that it does not keep me matte, which is a little misleading because I do not even have oily skin (just oily in my T-zone at times).

The Red Rose Real Tea tasted just like brewed tea. I love that is only 5 calories :) I received the black tea which is not very sweet, but I prefer it that way.

I have not tried the ImPress Press-on Manicure yet, but I plan to this weekend! I will keep you guys updated.

I used the Pilot Acroball Pen to take notes for a college course that I am taking, and so far it is a great pen. I always get irritated when a pen's ink is blotchy or doesn't write consistently, but I have not had any of those issues with this pen.

The N.Y.C. lip color came in a hot pink that I would not normally wear, but I was surprised that I liked the formula! N.Y.C. is very affordable so I was not expecting it to perform so well and the formula to be so creamy. The only con was the packaging, but I would rather a product be affordable then have the price hiked up due to expensive packaging.
I will definitely be picking up a few different colors!

IMATS LA 2014 Haul and Experience!

Yesterday I attending IMATS (International Makeup Artist Trade Show) in Pasadena, CA. I had an amazing time, and was able to meet several YouTubers that I watch several times a week!

The doors opened at 8:30AM, and we chose to wait in line at 6:45am. There were several coffee shops within 5 minutes walking from the venue which made the morning much easier. The Sheraton Pasadena is literally next door to the venue as well, so choosing to stay there made everything very convenient. The line was incredibly long before the show, so if you attend, I would recommend getting there early to avoid waiting in lines for a majority of the day. We were able to go to Sigma and Makeup Geek first to avoid the chaotic lines that began to form (and they were VERY long). We then began to check out the other booths. After about an hour lines began to become very long. Nicole Guerriero and Jaclyn Hill were booth having a meet and greet at the Million Dollar Tan Booth, so my cousin, mom, and I all took turns waiting in lines so that we could all shop and be the first in line for the meet and greet. Both girls were amazingly nice and so beautiful in person. In between their meet and greets we grabbed lunch, met EleventhGorgeous and continued to shop! We spent the rest of our day checking out booths that didn't have a line, and left around 3:30 that day. I will definitely be attending next year. Here are the items I picked up, and a few pictures I took!

Sigma had a 30% discount along with no tax or shipping (obviously) on everything. The first customers of the day received a free mini E25 and a brow and eyeshadow sampler. I picked up the:
Sigma F80- $14.70 (reg. $21)
Sigma F40- $13.30 (reg. $19)
Sigma F30- $16.80 (reg. $24)
Sigma E40- $9.80 (reg. $14)
Sigma Enlighten Eye Liner- $6.30 (reg. $9)

Then we went to Makeup Geek. I picked up five eyeshadows: Shimma Shimma, Creme Brulee, Frappe, Last Dance, and Prom Night). They were $5 each (reg. $5.99). I also grabbed three pigments: Nightlife, Utopia, and Afterglow. These were $6 each (reg. $6.99). I then grabbed a Z Palette at Frends for $15 (reg. $20).

My Inglot purchase was my last stop for the day and I picked up four eyeshadows. Inglot was offering 30% and no tax. Each of the eyeshadows ended up being $5 each. I picked up the colors: 154, 329, 335, and 423.

At BH Cosmetics they didn't have a set percentage off for their products, but I grabbed:
That's Heart Palette- $10
BH San Fransisco Palette- $5
10 Color Glamorous Blush Palette- $10
BH Eye and Lip Makeup Remover-$3

I also picked up 6 Beauty Blenders and BlenderCleaner for $60 at Frends. This would retail for $137.65 if purchased separately!!

I also picked up a few random items from different booths such as the:
Ben Nye Banana Powder (.92 oz)- $9 (reg. price varies)
Ardell Lash Glue- 2 for $5 (reg. $3.99)
China Glaze Nail Polish- 8 for $20 (reg. $7.50 each at Ulta)

My cousin, Jessica (JessAzevedo7), and I attended a Blogger Event hosted by Crown Brush on the Friday before IMATS. They were generous enough to give us an Infinity Brush Set, Tweezers, an Eyelash Curler, and a Flawless Face Blender.

Since I attended their event the night before, they offered all attendees an extra 40% off their purchase so I picked up a few extra brushes. I do not remember the exact prices, but they ranged from $2-$5 before the 40% off.

*All items were paid for by myself except for the brushes I received at the Crown Blogger Event :)

I also met a lot of amazing YouTubers :) From left to right: Ingrid, Tracy & Stefanie, Jaclyn Hill, Nicole Guerriero, Alli, and Emily Noel!
